By accessing or using the services provided by Apna Haath ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including families, individuals, and any representatives acting on their behalf.
2. Service Description
Apna Haath provides care coordination and support services including, but not limited to:
- Hospital visit accompaniment and coordination
- Elderly parent care and daily wellness check-ins
- Medicine management and pharmacy coordination
- Emergency response coordination
- Real-time updates to family members via WhatsApp
- Daily task assistance and errand support
Important: Apna Haath is a care coordination service. We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical provider. We do not provide medical diagnoses, treatments, or prescriptions. Our care assistants facilitate access to healthcare services but do not replace licensed medical professionals.
3. Booking & Cancellation
Services can be booked through our website contact form, WhatsApp, or phone. Upon booking:
- We will conduct a free initial assessment to understand your requirements
- A care assistant will be assigned within 24–48 hours (or 2–4 hours for emergencies in Hyderabad)
- You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a partial service fee
- You may terminate your service plan at any time with 7 days' written notice
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are agreed upon during the initial consultation based on the selected care plan:
- Payment methods include UPI, bank transfer, and other digital payment modes
- Billing cycles depend on the selected plan (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- All pricing is communicated transparently with no hidden fees
- Refunds for unused services will be processed within 7–10 business days upon request
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about care requirements and medical history
- Ensure a safe and respectful environment for our care assistants
- Communicate any changes in the care recipient's health condition promptly
- Make payments on time as per the agreed schedule
- Treat our staff with dignity and respect at all times
6. Limitation of Liability
Apna Haath provides care coordination services with utmost professionalism. However:
- We are not liable for medical outcomes, as we do not provide medical treatment
- We are not responsible for decisions made by hospitals, doctors, or other medical professionals
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service during which any issue arose
- We maintain insurance coverage for our care assistants during active service hours
7. Service Area
Our services are currently available across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with primary operations based in Hyderabad. Service availability in specific locations is subject to the availability of verified care assistants in that area. Please contact us to confirm service availability in your specific location.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
